The Black-Haired Prince

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, all its people were born with bright red hair—everyone except the king’s son, whose hair was pitch-black. After the king’s death, the prince was meant to take the throne. But the people would never accept a ruler who did not share their red hair.

Fearing for the future of his country, the king made a decision: his son’s black hair had to be turned red, no matter what it took.

As time went by, he realized it would not be easy. They tried everything—rubbing, washing, oils, potions—yet the prince’s hair remained stubbornly black.

One day, the king heard rumors of a distant city where hair could be changed to any color. Without hesitation, he sent his son away for a long journey lasting five years.

The prince may return home only when his hair becomes red…
